Eileen’s hacienda contains two charming rooms, each with its own bathroom, that share a shaded garden patio and a fully-equipped kitchenette. In addition, the owner’s suite, which occupies the second and third floors of the casa, is now available. There is a large bedroom with walk-in closet and spacious bathroom, “chef’s” kitchen with 2 sinks and loads of polished concrete counters, a domed living room and, on the rooftop, a 360 degree view of sea and mountains, half covered with a tiled roof and half open to sun and stars, with a half-bath.
Vivian Lougheed in “Mexico’s Pacific Coast” (2005) says “Eileens is decorated with artistic tiles, dotted with potted plants and is spotless. This is a unique guesthouse with exceptionally low rates.” Linens and bath towels are supplied; please bring your own beach towels. Laundry service is available nearby; they do a wonderful job at a very reasonable price. Prepaid telephone cards for local and long distance calls are readily available and may be used at the many public telephones in town. There is a long distance office, with message and fax service, and and many restaurants with wifi; we also have wireless capability for our guests. Maid service is twice a week, linen change once a week. Our water system is excellent – hot and cold with good pressure. In consideration of others, no smoking and no pets please.
